Version 1.6.0 (214) - macOS 12 + internal Updates

LoadMyTracks 1.6.0

This release is available as a direct download and will soon be available on the Mac AppStore.

Changes since 1.6.0 are specific to supporting macOS 12 and updates to internal libraries.

If you encounter problems on either the Mac App Store or direct versions, please contact us at our support site.

Issues with some Garmin devices
Some of you may have noticed that since 10.13, there are some older Garmin devices (especially those that used Garmin USB) that became unusable. Garmin's own software cannot communicate with them, and no firmware updates are available that fix these problems. Therefore, we cannot claim support for these any longer. This includes the Garmin Edge 305 and the Garmin eTrex Legend C. We have not done anything to remove support for these, so it's possible Garmin or Apple will issue a fix in the future, but we do not expect it (since the problem has been known for over a year).

Version 1.4.4 (091) - Lion Compatibility

Requirements changes - Snow Leopard or Lion Required

Please give this a try under Lion and Snow Leopard. We're about to submit our release to Apple for the AppStore, so if you find any problems, please report them immediately! Thanks!

This build requires both an Intel machine and Snow Leopard. While it is possible that it will run on 10.5 with an Intel CPU, it is no longer a supported configuration.

If you need PowerPC or 10.5 support, we suggest staying with 1.4.1 (087).

This is a test release (hopefully final) that should resolve problems with Uploading in Lion

Once we have confirmation, we'll be uploading the AppStore version, so please test this if you have any devices that allow uploading of tracks, waypoints, or routes.

Changes since 087

Warning message now given under 10.5 when the software is run, instead of just quitting

Fix bug which could result in problems sending in 088/089

Update UI to remove app popup from open (for Lion sandbox issue)

Add lion entitlements for sandboxing

Remove the option to specify the application to launch (gets around app services issue in Sandboxing under Lion)

Fix bug added in 088 which would cause the LoadMyTracks to crash after submitting information to the telemetry server

Update project to do testing in LMT binary so that we don't miscreate the temp files

Fixes for Lion XML parsing changes which affect GPX, LOC, and TCX import for translation and sending

Fixed bug which would result in the wrong waypoint type being sent for routes in extremely rare circumstances (possibly lab only)

Clean up a couple of memory leaks

Update to latest growl

Thanks!

Version 1.4.4 (090) - Lion Compatibility

Thanks!
